Megan Bailey was born in Washington, DC via Fort Washington, Maryland in February of 1985. Being a child of fine arts, and spending time between two grandmother (who were amazing chefs and bakers), her appreciation for food + design began. 

Megan's passion is divided between graphic design and food. From the age of 7 she would spend hours in kitchens of family members whenever an opportunity arose. Once her mother noticed her interest, Megan was asked to prepare Saturday dinner for the family. Every meal was complete with beverage and dessert.

At the age of 15 she started drawing popular cartoon characters on t shirts and selling them to class mates. Megan even developed her own line of t shirts, with help from friends that where doing the same. Everywhere she could market her drawing skills and or t shirt designs she did. In high school she was introduce to the world of graphic design; enrolling in all four classes that were offered.

In Fall of 2003 she moved from the DMV to pursue a BFA at SCAD in Savannah, GA. While studying at SCAD; her work was selected and featured in the senior graphic design showcase. Since graduating she has designed numerous logos and brand identities for non-profit organizations.


After relocating to Los Angeles, CA in 2009. She decided this was the perfect time to bridge the gap between her two passions and pursue Patisserie & Baking at Le Cordon Bleu. Since graduating, she spends her time working at a chocolate-confection shop in Los Angeles; also testing recipes and photo-blogging in her spare time.

Out of the duo passion of Graphic + Food Design; I present to you StylishFOOD
